30 Day Book Marketing Challenge

Do You Want To Know The Best Ways To Market, Promote And Sell Your Business Building Book?

You're investing timemoney and energy to write and publish your book. But are you investing enough time to market it, so that you can guarantee that your hard work pays off?

I'm Karen Williams, The Book Mentor, and I know that writing a book can be a great way to build your business, attract more clients, and reach more people who need your help. But even the most amazing authors end up with boxes of books sat in the garage, because they're not marketing their book well enough.

I'm sure that you don't want to miss out on KEY opportunities that could make or break your book's success. Or have a book that doesn't sell or costs you money rather than brings in a good income

Marketing your book is something that works best when you do it from the day you start to think about writing it. When you build your community at the same time, this will give you the motivation to finish and publish your book. They will become your raving fans, and may well become your clients

But don't start panicking if you're further down the line. You can still craft and develop an effective book marketing strategy, that will help you to ensure that you have the right things in place to promote your book.

And I'd like to show you how.

After running the 30 Day Book Marketing Challenge live three times, you can now download all of the material and tips.

You'll get dozens of great strategies to sell, market and promote your book - whether you are on the starting blocks or have already finished and launched your book.

Alison Waring

Author of Breathe with Ease

Karen's 30 Day Book Marketing Challenge has made what seemed to be a challenge into a straightforward road map of everything you need to do from first conception of your book through to launch and beyond.

I wish I had found out about this sooner as it would have been a massive help navigating the waters of launching my book. I now have a really clear plan on how to proceed beyond the launch and what to do to bring follow up books to successful marketing. Thank you for the personalised webinar too, which was most helpful.

I can highly recommend this programme to anyone with a book on the way or already published and wondering what to do next. Such a comprehensive package.

Frankie and Ruby, author of In the Jumble

Karen’s 30 day book marketing challenge was a great way to get focus and clarity on how to go about marketing my book In the Jumble, which shares my tips on how to find treasures to wear from charity shops.

In brilliant bite sized chunks I could work through and action Karen's wisdom, which really helped set up my marketing plan and activities; not just for the 30 days of the challenge, as I have been using her training and information ever since.

I’d highly recommend it for both authors and would-be authors as the information applies whatever stage of the writing process you are at.

The Career Catalyst, author of three books including Portfolio Careers: How to Work for Passion, Pleasure & Profit!

This challenge helped me to become more focused on my marketing.  Although I was aware of many of the strategies, I found that I became more tactical in terms of my use of PR, optimising LinkedIn and Twitter connections in establishing radio show and podcast hosts, future of work websites and various digital media. I also developed a plan that allowed me to check off the things that I’d actioned.

The net result was that I became in demand on radio shows, podcasts and media interviews in the UK, USA and Canada, Australia and New Zealand. My books are now selling around the globe and I have become an internationally acclaimed author of Career and Personal Development books.

In turn this has helped me to gain international clients for Career Coaching work who have also networked me into like-minded people who are keen to champion my work as a thought leader in the changing word of work, especially Portfolio Careers and potentially collaborate on opportunities.

Jane Langston

Learn Anatomy, author of Making Sense of Learning Human Anatomy and Physiology (Lotus Publishing and North Atlantic Books)

Taking part in the Book Marketing Challenge with Karen Williams last year was a game-changer for my marketing campaign for "Making Sense of Learning Human Anatomy and Physiology".

Earle Abrahamson and myself, Jane Langston, published our book in late 2016, but as authors, we hadn't explored many avenues for marketing.

Each day the Book Marketing Challenge gave a new method of planning the marketing or a new resource to use. The biggest realisation from the Challenge, was that selling our book was not the primary goal; being "authors" makes one have more credibility, so public events and giving courses were our aspirational goal.

As a result of the Challenge, we launched our new publication in USA with a Thunderclap campaign, our book was on sale in Foyles in London (a personal achievement reached!), we gave keynote speeches at conferences, talks at smaller events and have delivered many short courses. Massage World Magazine invited us to have a regular feature in their publication. We were invited to a TherapyExpo to promote our book, and we were Runner Up in the Best New Product category of the Holistic Magazine Business Awards. Sales could always be better, and we can never take our foot of the book marketing accelerator pedal.

I would strongly recommend the Book Marketing Challenge to any writer or even publishers. The daily bite sized chunks of learning were achievable and didn't overwhelm, and the support from the Facebook group was just amazing, celebrating each other's success.
